Max Matters Motocross/Road To Recovery Fund Raiser

Vintage Iron and Road To Recovery have joined forces, in Max Doughty’s name to raise funds specially geared for injured riders and racers needing the resources to deal with the onslaught of depression.

Raffle, silent auction and revenues from the event will go directly to the fine folks at Road to Recovery. You may want to bring some extra pocket money!

Round 2 BA Moto Triple Crown

Scrambler 1- Pre-72 Four stroke singles

Scrambler 2- Pre-72 Four stroke twins

Rider age: Classes will be run in Moto 1/ Second Gate. (Under 40. 40+, 50+, 60+/ any engine size)

Engine size: Classes will run in Moto 5/Second gate. (125, 250 & Open)

Rider ability: Divisions (Novice, Intermediate and Expert) in each class.

All classes will run two motos each. 

 

Cross Up Classic/CZ Shootout

The CZ World Championship was recently cancelled, so ARX, CR Racing and Rick Nabers (CZWC) have come together to create the “CZ Shootout”.

The CZ Shootout will run under the following format:

Both engine size and rider age classes will be offered separately.

CZ Only classes

Rider age: Classes will be run in Moto 1/First Gate. (Under 40, 40+, 50+, 60+/ any engine size)

Engine size: Classes will run in Moto 5/First gate. (125, 250 & 400)

Rider ability: Divisions (Novice, Intermediate and Expert) in each class.

All classes will run two motos each. 

Awards

Medals will be awarded for each class and ability.

Three “special overall awards” will given for the best overall/combined scores from engine size and rider age classes.

One each, Novice, Intermediate and Expert. In the event of a tie score, the older rider wins.

Rider’s must compete in both engine size and age group classes to qualify for the overall awards.

Yes, typically but it is always wise to call the track and verify if camping is available and what time they close the gates.

Sign up opens at 7:30 and closes promptly at 8:45. Rider’s meeting at 8:45. Practice begins at 9:00. First race at 10:00. Day is done at 1:00

Not after the riders meeting is concluded. We have no control over your bike prep or physical issues.

No sorry. This is a Vintage to Vet racing club and we cater to that age group. There are lots of great racing organizations that cater to kids and small bikes.

Minimum of 5 events to qualify for year end awards but you have to be a member for all 5. Membership will not give you retroactive points.
